50th Anniversary Party - A Great Success!

 Our 50th Anniversary Celebration held on August 8th achieved its goal of bringing together the many positive aspects of Troop 75's Ohana, serving as a homecoming for those who have been through the scouting program from years past and a confirmation of a voluntary group that continues to mold our youth into becoming responsible citizens, skilled outdoorsmen and leaders within their communities.  The beautiful decorations and displays, outstanding music, terrific food, refreshing shaved ice, eloquent speakers, outstanding keepsake booklet, and heartwarming presentations were all just right.  Many thanks to Kahikuonalani Church for hosting this event and for their continuing love and support, the wonderful and talented Noname Band, our hard working cooks, parking attendants, greeters, invited guests, set-up and clean up crew, ... a BIG MAHALO to Alvina, Cathy, Shayne, Vernon, Ricky, Karie, Dean, Mark, Joe, Al, Jim, Margie, Keith, Mark, Jimmy, Ryan, Norman, Benton, Meryl, Stan, Gwen, Grace, Colleen, Kevin, Keith, Bert, Cris, Elvie, Cindy, Diane, Ivan, Zack, Taylor, Jeff and all the Scouts, ... the Spirit of Troop 75 lives on!

Anniversary Announcement and Application

 

The current and former scouts and families of Troop 75 will come together on August 8, 2009 in celebration of the Troop's 50th Anniversary in Pearl City.  This will be a "Homecoming" for many, a chance to socialize with old friends and acknowledge a successful program of volunteers who have helped shape the lives of many young men.  In 50 years, Troop 75 has produced over 70 Eagle Scouts and taught hundreds of boys outdoor, citizenship and leadership skills.  Please join us on this day as we get together to acknowledge the importance of Scouting, learn our history, hear from our former leaders, thank our sponsors, meet the current troop, renew and make new friendships.  After all, we are all part of one big "Family"!

Celebrating 50 Years in Pearl City

On November 30, 1959 Boy Scout Troop 75, Kaala District, Aloha Council was established in Pearl City.  To celebrate our 50 years, the hundreds of boys, 70+ Eagle Scouts and the many leaders and families who have participated in this wonderful program of growth and leadership for our youth, we will hold a special Anniversary and Homecoming Party at the Kahikuonalani Church grounds on Saturday, August 8, 2009 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.  Please save this date for reuniting with old friends, honoring our history and supporting our continued success.
