Pack 75 - Webelos Crossover to Troop 75

In Cub Scouts, the highest award that can be earned, as a Webelos scout, is the "Arrow of Light". This is the only award that can be transferred over to Boy Scouts. A Webelos scout will then make the transition or "Crossover" to a Boy Scout Troop. 

Troop 75 is very proud to be a part of the celebration of our little scout brothers in Pack 75. This marks a new scout beginning for these eager new Boy Scouts. Welcoming them to our Troop Ohana is our duty and pleasure.

2012 Camp Kokololio

Fortunately, our Hawaiian winter season isn't covered in white. Instead, Camp Kokololio greeted us with lush campgrounds, a gentle calm Friday evening, and a perfect sunny Saturday which included a stiff easterly breeze in the afternoon and evening to keep things cool and comfortable. Both evenings were clear and perfect for constellation gazing.

Our first campout of 2012 at Camp Kokololio turned out to be a wonderful experience. Although it's been a few months since our last real outdoor campout, the scouts didn't seem to skip a beat and soon got into a scout rhythm that's conducive for having fun, learning, and growth in the scout teachings and ways. The senior scout leaders that were in attendance did a great job and certainly kept things fun and packed with activities and competitions for both patrols.

This campout surely makes us all look forward to many more memorable events coming this 2012 year.

Putting Away the Lights

As scouts and scouters, we have a commitment to helping our community. It really doesn't matter how big or small the task is, helping is what it's all about. What better way to start off the new 2012 year than to help out our neighborhood Momilani Community Center with the task of taking down their Christmas lights and decorations. All strung lighted trees, miniature Christmas trees, candy canes, and a herd of animatronics feeding deer were carefully dismantled and put away in their containers awaiting another 11 months till its put up again.

Your scouting helpful spirit makes Troop 75 shine just as bright as all these Christmas lights and decorations put together on Christmas eve. Let's keep shining all year long!
