The last Troop 75 Court of Honor of the 2011 year proved to be special indeed as this is the time to celebrated the accomplishments and growth of all our Scouts throughout the year. This short segment in time not only allowed us to reflect on their accolades, but to also give thanks, prayers, and hopes to the less fortunate and all the people that touch us to make our lives better for today and the many tomorrows.
The Christmas season seems to bring out the best of us as we all know that giving ourselves in treasure and time is always much better than receiving. We managed to collect over 110 lbs of canned goods that was donated to the Hawaii Food Bank. In addition, the silent auction allowed the Troop to raise funds for continuation and the expected growth in the upcoming year. The Troop is truly blessed to have a dedicated Ohana for support and guidance.
Great job and congratulation to the two patrols that competed in the Christmas Table Decorations Contest. Each Patrol had a unique creative style and made the evening that much more memorable. Both designs certainly helped to bring out the Christmas Spirits and Jollies to all.
Thank you to all of our special guests, commitee members, and the Troop 75 Ohana for making this evening so great.
I can't think of a better way to start off the Christmas season than to be in a parade. Our Troop 75 Christmas spirits were sky high and in full swing. We certainly hope Santa brings us all that we wish for.
These are some of the better photos from our trip to Alaska with emphasis on the funny stuff. If anyone would like one of the pics please email me at loochan@mac.com, and I will email you the full image. The images loaded on the blog site are smaller than the original file. Keith
